Position Overview:
Are you a commerce graduate with a knack for international trade and logistics? Pak Tulip International is seeking a dedicated and skilled Import / Export Executive to join our team. This is an equal opportunity position, welcoming applications from all genders.
Key Responsibilities:
Import and Export Documentation: Expertise in handling all import and export documentation is a must. You will ensure all paperwork is accurate and compliant with international trade regulations.
Freight Negotiations and Logistics Support: You will be responsible for negotiating freight rates and providing logistics support to ensure the smooth movement of goods.
Dealing with Port and Customs Authorities: Strong skills in dealing with port and customs authorities are essential. You will manage all interactions to facilitate the timely clearance of goods.
Customer Communication: Sending shipment details and documents to customers in a timely and efficient manner is a key part of the role.
Job Requirements:
Qualification: Minimum commerce graduate with good communication skills.
Expertise: Thorough knowledge of customs duties/tariffs, general sales tax, advance income tax deductions, port methods and procedures.
Experience: Proven experience in dealing with clearing/forwarding agents, shipping lines, and all relevant authorities/agencies involved in the import/export process.
Skills and Competencies:
Communication: Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail to ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant.
Problem-Solving: Ability to handle and resolve issues related to logistics and customs procedures efficiently.
Negotiation: Skilled in negotiating freight rates and logistics terms to optimize costs and service levels.
